Our Mission
The Jess Rousey Honoring Heroes Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formed to provide advocacy, support, and appreciation opportunities that honor local heroes who protect and serve our communities through their dedication to public safety. Our team consists of all volunteers whose mission is to serve and support first responders while facilitating the strengthening of relationships between the community and public safety.

Our advocacy, support, and appreciation initiatives promote meaningful ways to serve our public safety heroes. We believe that first responders deserve recognition and support not only during times of crisis, but all year long.

We are dedicated to showing appreciation for the hardworking heroes who risk their lives to keep our communities safe. Beyond providing essential supplies, we also organize uplifting events and activities that remind them they are valued. Throughout the year, we celebrate national public safety appreciation days, sponsor holiday gatherings, and host events for first responders and their families.

We proudly partner with public safety agencies to strengthen the bond between first responders and the communities they serve. By participating in joint training and engagement efforts, we become better equipped advocates and ambassadors for their needs.

Our commitment ensures that first responders have the necessary resources to protect and serve effectively. We advocate for critical funding, help agencies identify resources, and raise funds to meet essential needs.

We also recognize the immense personal sacrifices first responders and their families make every day. In times of crisis, we provide direct support and assistance to help them recover, rebuild, and heal. We offer financial aid, emotional support, and access to mental health resources tailored to the unique challenges faced by public safety professionals.

As part of our wellness initiatives, our Horses Helping Heroes program supports mental wellness and provides a restorative, hands-on experience that helps reduce stress, trauma, and PTSD among first responders. This innovative program connects heroes with the healing power of horses—offering peace, balance, and renewed strength.
